LOCAL SCHOOLS AND SPORTS CLUBS TAKE TO THE AIR WITH TWO #JUMPFEST EVENTS THIS MONTH!
Local schools and sports club are being offered the chance to have a sneak preview of Acton’s new Oxygen Freejumping trampoline park before it opens to the general public on July 20, with the announcement of two special #JumpFest events.
The free events – taking place on July 13 and July 14 – will give hundreds of local children the chance to take to the air at the park, which is the first of its kind in London.
Along with hour-long freejumping sessions with access to “walk the wall trampolines”, tumble tracks, air bags, obstacle course, Parkour and a trampoline academy, when the park opens it will also offer fitness classes, birthday parties, dedicated sessions for family bounce, teen takeover nights and holiday camps.
The Sports’ #JumpFest will take place between 5 – 9pm on Monday July 13, with the Schools’ #JumpFest running all day, from 10 – 3pm on Tuesday July 14, giving coaches and teachers the chance to book an end of year treat like no other.
During the jump festivals, Oxygen Freejumping coaches will also scouting for talented bouncers to become part of a trampolining academy which will be based at the park when it opens, enabling aspiring gymnasts to develop their skills and learn to jump properly with qualified gymnastics instructors.
With only a select number of spots available for both days, schools and clubs are advised to register their interest quickly.
David Stalker, CEO of Oxygen Freejumping, says:
“We’re on a mission to encourage the whole of London to take to the air this summer. With just a few weeks before our launch we’re excited to be offering young people in the local community the chance to come in and try the venue first. Bouncing is a fantastically fun and energetic movement ideal for getting kids active – we can’t wait to see the park in full swing!”
Schools and sports club in West Acton and the surrounding areas are being offered the chance to register for up to 30 places to trial the park. All places are available on a first come, first served basis and must be booked by a teacher or member of a sports club committee.
