What To Do In Ealing This Weekend [21-22nd June]

Ealing is buzzing with activities and events this weekend! From sports, to festivals, to summer fairs – there is something to do for each member of your family. Loving Ealing!

Hanwell Carnival

Music Stage

Six acts – local band Et Tu Bruce (following their tour in the US with the Zombie’s), Louise Setara, south London’s The Navajo, 4 piece alternative/indie band EditSelect, The Golden Manor Medicine Show and The Disputes.

Community Arena

Among those participating this year are Oatlands Park Pipe Band, a Kabaddi display and Ealing Rock Choir, back by popular demand. Westside will be running the second Hanwell’s Got Talent competition, and showcasing last year’s winner.

Dog Show, Animal Zone, Pony Rides, Craft Tent, Artisan Food Tent, Funfair, Charity stalls, Acoustic tent, Choir Festival, Petting Zoo

Crocodiles of the World  the UK’s only crocodile zoo, is bringing four West African Dwarf Crocodiles to the carnival. Shaun Foggett, the UK’s answer to Steve Irwin, will be coming too – he’s the human star of the documentary series Croc Man, which aired on the Discovery Channel and Channel 5 in 2011.

Football

QPR in the Community Trust will provide a range of activities for all ages including small-sided matches, various skills challenges, a prize draw and the chance to meet Rangers’ much-loved mascots Jude and Spark.

Pitshanger Party In The Park

IMG_7537Held in Pitshanger Park at the end of June each year, Party In The Park is the PCA main Summer community event.

This event has lots of offer for a very modest entry of £2 per adult, free for kids.

It starts at 1pm on the Open Air Stage enjoying music and dance acts by local schools and other groups and continue to 9pm with live music in the beer tent.
Gastrodome – BBQ, Hog Roast, Pimms, Strawberries & Cream and Asian cuisine
Beer Tent
Over 50 stalls
Carousel and the Arena (dog show, tug of war, etc)
Junior football teams
