Mr Tumble is back on the road and will send your tots tumbling!

“Justin & Friends: Mr Tumble’s Circus”, a new CBeebies production touring around UK arenas this Easter, reached Wembley last weekend.

For those who have just come back from space and are unfamiliar with Mr Tumble, he is one of many characters from the pre-school television channel CBeebies, created and performed by the legendary multi-talented Justin Fletcher MBE.

Justin is a permanent resident in our home so imagine my two year old’s reaction when he realised who it was on the stage! Seeing his little face light up made my heart melt!

Roll up, roll up, Justin Fletcher MBE is back in a brand new production this Easter! Following on from his first sell‑out arena tour in 2013, Justin is bringing his fun‑filled show – Justin & Friends: Mr Tumble’s Circus to town!

We were treated to a mix of Justin’s best sketches such as Justin’s House, Mr Tumble and Gigglebiz featuring the popular characters Arthur Sleep, Keith Fitt, Robert The Robot, Aunt Polly, Mr Tumble, Grandad Tumble and Gale Force. The whole show was filled with fun, colour and surprises.

The interaction with the audience was great, and the circus part was quite impressive – with the help of professionals, there was juggling, plate-spinning, unicycling and fireworks.

There were kids of all ages and there was something for everyone. I nearly lost my voice from all the shouting and singing along to the kids’ favourite songs. It brought a tear to my eye to see teeny tots in the audience so happy, bouncing and squealing with excitement. Hats off to Justin – his energy and passion are infectious and he is just as incredible and genuine live as on the telly.

Justin said:

“It’s always exciting to welcome new friends into the Justin & Friends family. Although we all appear on CBeebies, it’s rare that we get to perform together and that’s one of the things that makes the CBeebies Live shows such fun. Cat and Gemma are both fantastic entertainers and I’m really looking forward to touring with them.”

All in all, it was a magical experience for the little ones and a perfect Easter treat for the whole family – thumbs up from Mumsnet Ealing!

It’s been a while since we have visited the SSE Arena (formerly, the Wembley Arena) but it hasn’t changed much and could do with sprucing up, especially with more baby-changing facilities. We spent the whole 20 minute interval queuing up for one. On the plus side, there was plenty of space in the seating area for the kids to move freely and have a boogie. I must say the merchandise is eye-wateringly expensive!

The Tour is on the road around the UK until 14th April. For all the latest news from Justin & Friends: Mr Tumble’s Circus visit www.facebook.com/cbeebieslive, or to book tickets go to www.cbeebieslive.com.
